Coming into Hospital
While your surgeon is responsible for directing and planning
your treatment, your care will be delivered by our teams at Mercy
or Ascot Hospital. Your surgeon has chosen us for a good
reason; when it comes to your health, we leave no stone
unturned.
Our goal is personalised service. When you are with us,
you are the most important person in the room and our team is
wholeheartedly committed to your care.
Below is information to assist you before admission, during
your stay and for your return home.
In addition to information about your specific
procedure/operation, your surgeon's rooms will also give you a copy
of our patient information booklet to read and forms to complete
prior to your admission.
Depending on which of our hospitals you are due to have surgery
at, please:
- Read the Mercy Hospital or Ascot Hospital patient information booklets and
make sure to watch our Patient Experience
video. Encourage a member of your family or a friend who
is caring for you to do this too.
- Ensure you have completed all the forms for the hospital where
you are having your surgery (as listed below) and send them to
us. The hospital must receive your forms at least ONE
WEEK prior to your admission.
