Stu Ross joins MercyAscot’s Commercial and Partnerships team as Specialist Engagement Lead

We are pleased to announce that Stu Ross has joined MercyAscot’s Commercial and Partnerships team as MercyAscot’s Specialist Engagement Lead. Stu will be tasked with driving the development and execution of strategies for specialist partnerships and business growth and building and maintaining productive, long-term relationships with New Zealand’s top medical specialists. He will also play a key role in integrating business insights into clinical specialty plans, supporting the expansion of MercyAscot’s facilities and services in line with our strategic objectives. 

With a background in healthcare that spans over two decades, Stu started his career in physiotherapy, where he built his Refine Health physio clinics in Newmarket and St Heliers over the last 15 years. His journey continued into the medical device industry as a Product Specialist at DePuy Synthes Med Tech, where he specialised in orthopaedic surgery products and supporting orthopaedic specialists in theatre. His background in business management, deep understanding of product application, strengths in stakeholder relationship management, and his passion for continuous learning are assets that he brings to his role at MercyAscot. 

Outside of his professional commitments, Stu loves spending time with his family, heading to the local Auckland beaches in summer, hitting the pavement for a run, or dusting off the windsurf gear for some time in the water.
