Andrew is a New Zealand and internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon, specialising in spinal surgery in Auckland.

He has a public appointment in Middlemore Hospital in the supra-regional spinal cord injury service.

Andrew’s private practice is primarily in Ascot Office Park with The Orthopaedic Group. He also offers regular outreach clinics, north in Silverdale, east in Half Moon Bay and south in Papatoetoe.

Andrew has a surgical focus for patients but often recommends and completes adequate non-operative management, avoiding unnecessary surgery. If it transpires that surgery is the best option, Andrew supports patients in that decision-making.

Andrew has an interest in minimally invasive and motion preservation techniques to achieve surgical goals. He offers a wide range of surgery through the whole spine from microdisectomy to deformity correction.
