Tēnā koutou katoa, I am a General, Upper GI, & Bariatric surgeon at Auckland Laparoscopic Surgery and Te Toka Tumai Auckland. My role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to support patients through complex surgical pathways and I feel privileged to be part of my patients’ care. I offer laparoscopic bariatric surgery for weight loss including roux-en-y gastric bypass, single anastomosis gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy, as well as laparoscopic anti-reflux, gastric & oesophageal cancer and hernia surgeries.  

After completing General Surgery training, I undertook 3 years sub-specialist training in Auckland before heading to Sydney to work with leaders in complex bariatric and upper GI surgery at St George Private Hospital, the country’s first internationally accredited Centre of Bariatric Excellence.
